Great vision, Tim D. I'm definitely a bit envious - although Denver life is great, it's not as invigoratingly foreign as I imagine El Zonte to be. Also, I assume no permits were required to build that retaining wall. I bet heads would turn if we erected something similar in Platt Park. Be well.

ReplyDeleteI live in Guatemala, and was in El Zonte this past weekend (April 18, 19), as my family shoots down there from Guatemala pretty much every chance we get. I know your neighbor, Scott Davis, behind the fortress-like wall across the street from your lot. I was intrigued at what you've done. You may have noticed me taking pix as I drove by in a yellow pick-up on Saturday. I wanted to show the wife what new activity there was...
Anyhoo, what are you guys up to there? A pad for a tent, but what else are you doing? Love the landscaping...
